PRODIGAL – Vinka Sidra

The washed Sidra from Vinka returns following a standout reception in the previous harvest. Known for its refined structure and clarity, this year’s release continues that strong trajectory.

In the cup, expect distinctive notes of cherry cola, papaya, and floral vanilla, supported by clean sweetness and vibrant balance.

This Sidra was produced by owners Carlos and Maria Fernanda and expertly milled by Fabricio Coronel of Hacienda La Florida, recognized as the 2023 Ecuador Cup of Excellence #4 winner. This marks Vinka’s second harvest of their Sidra crop.

Beyond their work on the farm, Carlos and Maria Fernanda are university professors deeply engaged in research and teaching in areas including biodiversity, deforestation, conservation, and environmental quality — values that align closely with thoughtful coffee production.
