LiLo Coffee Roasters was founded in 2014. The person who planned everything from the very beginning is Keita Nakamura, currently the head roaster. LiLo’s coffee menu includes 24 types of coffee beans. While there are price differences between the various items, there’s no particular specialty; each bean is treated equally.
Nakamura was introduced to a different world by a cup of coffee he had at a tea shop during his spare time in his late twenties. The rich aroma and fruity sweetness of Ethiopian coffee spread across his palate. Realizing the diversity of coffee flavors, Nakamura began taking courses and brewing hand-roasted coffee beans at home, further immersing himself in the world of coffee.
When he established LiLo in 2014, Nakamura handled everything himself, from roasting to brewing and serving customers. He spends weekdays at the factory and weekends at the Roasters. LiLo Coffee Roasters was also selected as one of the “50 Best Coffee Shops in Asia” by the internationally renowned travel website Big 7 Travel.
