La Isla farm is owned by Cafe Ar Bar/Alietta family. We have been purchasing their ETH47 lot exclusively since 2021. Def
While last year’s lot offered some ripe flavors that are akin to natural process coffees, this year’s lot remind us of some Ethiopian coffees, with unprecedentedly complex after taste. The complex flavors do remind us of our first purchase of this coffee in 2021 and our final roast profile for this lot ended up close to our 2022/2023 profiles.
Degassing: we recommend degassing this coffee unopened for at least 45days. Best from 60days to 90days post roast.
